Bituminous Wood fibre boards with density 230 Kg/m³.
BitumFiber in bituminous wood fibre board is a panel which, thanks to its high compressive resistance and its high density, is ideal to realize dry and wet screeds, flooring system with cement bonded particle board BetonWood.
The bituminous wood fibre board BitumFiber is a separating element under concrete screeds, and is obtained from the felting and drying of wood fiber impregnated with 10% of bitumen dried during manufacture (percentage of reinforced bitumen upon request).
Excellent soundproofing in foot traffic improves the phonic comfort in the rooms and promotes the diffusion of water vapor, so as to minimize the formation of mold.
The bituminous wood fibre boards BitumFiber 230 are hygrometric regulators; protect buildings with wooden or metal structure from rain and wind.
It reduces vibrations. It has a density of 230 kg/m³.
The material is also recyclable, it is certified and made exclusively with wood from controlled forests in compliance with the FSC guidelines (Forest Stewardship Declaration).
The insulating bituminous wood fibre board BitumFiber 230 is an excellent material to realize dry and wet screeds, flooring systems and walkable floors:
• the panels are produced in compliance with the current European standards (EN13986 and EN622-4) with continuous external supervision and in compliance with the compression, extrusion and recovery requirements of the American Standard ASTMD1751;
• the natural wood fibre boards used as raw material are not irritating, especially for the skin;
• the wood comes from forests controlled by FSC reforestation cycles (Forest Stewardship Council);
• unlike some other insulating materials, there is no need for special safety measures;
• the panels are easy to work with common wood machines;
• building material tested and authorized according to current European standards.
